NATURAL MATERIALS, ANCIENT TECHNIQUES & NEW TECHNOLOGY

Moonfinder is a mother and daughter team based out of Texas and the Big Island of Hawaii. We focus on creating unique, stylish and functional products inspired by our curiosity and love of nature, animals, space, and the history of craft.

We use a variety of natural materials and ancient crafting techniques like marquetry, leather working, and marble painting. We juxtapose these processes with the new technology of laser cutting and etching. Each piece is assembled, dyed, and finished by hand with great attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Moonfinder cares about our ecological footprint and feels that one of the best ways to prevent waste is to create beautiful, functional products that will last a long time. We strive to always use sustainably-harvested, or salvaged wood and leather, and we only use safe non-toxic finishes.
